Gifts from God

I have a podcast called Road Trip with God on Spotify and other podcast platforms if you want to click to listen to me read and talk on each of these points.

1. We don't need to have fear because God is our protector. God gives us strength--on our own we have none.

2. We have been chosen as descendants of God to spread His words of love, truth, and kindness.

3. God sees all. He knows our hearts and minds. He made our past, present, and future.

4. God performs miracles before our eyes daily if we look around to see them.

5. We have God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as our guides. They put thoughts of goodness in our heads, and peaceful words in our mouths.

6. By God's grace, He allows all the believers to baptize those in need and willing to be saved.

7. Baptism is death to sin and a resurrection to life everlasting.

8. We are visitors on this earth. Heaven is our dwelling place. We come from Heaven, and through God's will we will one day return there.

9. We will be persecuted by the supernatural (yet very real) evil of this earth. Our God is just, and His justice will be served in perfect time.

10. God gives us signs to lead us in the right direction in order to gain wisdom.

11. By God's will, and to His glory, we can perform miracles, signs, and wonders even greater than Jesus did by the gift of the Holy Spirit. Anything we can imagine is possible by God's will and power.

12. We have been protected by God and His creations in human bodies that walk among us (usually unknown) our whole lives.

13. The Ten Commandments are the directions to eternity with God the Father.

14. There is nothing too shameful to be forgiven by God through the sacrifice Jesus made just so long as your heart is pure in seeking His mercy.

Prayer Against Evil

Evil is fear with the ability to move.

It is fear with legs.

When our actions allow evil a seat at the table, it will need a bench because a chair is too small.

It is greed and all consuming.

The longer we allow it in our lives the more comfortable it becomes.

Jesus,

Watch over me always, and guide me away from places and situations that lead toward evil. If, in Your wisdom, You observe evil is near or around me--please ask Father God to intercede and remove it. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit!

My Teacher

You taught me about life, and not just living;

How to be kind; not selfish, but giving.

More than just right from wrong;

But how the soul will go on and on.

You lit the world for me in a whole new way;

It started after I really learned to pray.

In Your kindness and mercy You waited for me to be ready to learn;

Why did I make You wait last for a turn?

The Beginning and The End;

Now more than my teacher--but also my friend.

Thank You for teaching me this earth is not my home;

Hopefully when I meet You I'll be spiritually full grown.
